Offshore Precious Metals Mining Optimization

Lally personnel spent a week on the floating plant and site evaluating dredging and processing equipment, operations, site conditions and worked with the contractor team, geologists and regulators to assess project limitations. Based on field observations and additional analyses, Lally submitted reports recommending several optimization opportunities employing geophysical, bathymetric, and MetOcean data, and other improvements involving a mining plan, electronic positioning, tailings management, dredge production, process plant optimization, environmental compliance, safety, and project management. The implemented recommendations yielded substantial improvements in precious metals recovery and overall project performance.
