Engineer-Diver Inspections and Recoveries
Lally LLC engineer-divers and scientific-divers regularly perform underwater inspections of vessels, shoreside facilities, pilings, water intakes and pipelines, outfalls, as well as to assess habitat quality, perform fish counts, collect seabed substrate samples, and investigate dredgeability conditions.
We employ SCUBA and lift bag technology for oceanographic equipment deployments (i.e. acoustic doppler current profiler), sampling (i.e. McNeil gravel sampler, push cores), and hand-held underwater magnetometers for recovery of lost property and marine debris.
Lally LLC also owns and operates state-of-the-art remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) for underwater inspections and remote sensing in more complex conditions, or where highest quality videography and data logging are required.
Recent Level I engineer-diver inspection and recovery projects have been completed by Lally personnel in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and the Bahamas.
